Associate Music Director (part time)

Scope of position: 10 hrs/week.

The Associate Music Director supports the faith of the congregation through the ministry of music. The position has four main components:

1) accompanying the Sanctuary Choir and congregation in their singing,

2) accompanying Sunday worship hymns as the pianist/organist,

3) directing the Carillon Bell Choir and one additional ensemble, and

4) shared responsibility in playing preludes and postludes as needed in worship.

The ability to play the organ is required along with the ability to choose music that is appropriate for worship in each liturgical season. This role requires ministry leadership and works in close cooperation with the Pastors, Music Director, and Worship Ministry Team in providing leadership and planning for worship and music in the church.

Office Administrator (part time)

Atonement Lutheran Church is hiring a part-time office Administrator (18 hrs/week) to partner with the pastors and staff to carry out the ministry of the church.

Tasks encompassed by this role include, but are not limited to: providing hours in the office (currently Mon/Wed 9a-noon; Tues/Thurs 9a-3p), providing administrative support to the Pastors,, answering the phone and greeting visitors throughout the day, coordinating building use, and keeping the church calendar updated.

Technology Coordinator (part time)

The Technology Coordinator guides the implementation, maintenance, and use of technology to support and further Lord of the Hills Lutheran Church’s mission. They manage the church website and other internet technologies (email, social media, etc.) and design and produce electronic materials as needed. The role acts as a resource for staff and laity in planning, auditing, and utilization of electronic mediums.

This is a part-time averaging 6 hours a week - it is primarily a Sunday morning job (paid per hour, no benefits)  managing the technology used in worship in conjunction with volunteers. The work on website, database, electronic sign, social media etc will be done within the Sunday morning working hours.
